This privacy policy statement describes how we at protect the rights to privacy and publicity of visitors and subjects depicted in pictures. This policy can change at any time with no further notice, and we encourage visitors to review it regularly for the most updated version.

- Privacy policy for visitors and clients

The personal information we collect through the Web site consists on the name and e-mail address of registered members, plus extra information which is optional for members to provide. In regards to buyers of reproduction rights, the only personal information we collect through the Web site is the name and e-mail address of the buyer, in order to be able to deliver the purchased content. Personal information is maintained with absolute confidentiality and never shared with mailing lists, nor sold to marketing companies.

We will not send buyers or visitors any e-mail announcements, other than those pertinent to purchase transactions, normal responses to requests for information, solicited e-mails or yearly reports.

No names, e-mails, ISPs, physical addresses or other personal data on visitors, or stored on visitors' computers, are ever tracked.

DNS server addresses appear eventually listed on pages that are not ordinarily accessible by visitors, and which we internally check for information related to Web sites referring visitors to us. We seldom take these addresses into consideration when looking at the referrals; they are never kept in our computers and also self-delete from the hosting server after a brief period of time.

- Privacy policy for subjects in photographs

In regards to site-owned images, in most of the cases in which persons are the central subject of photographs they have been asked to be photographed and their permission has been granted. In other cases, they have asked themselves to be photographed. In others they have a personal relationship with the authors and have consented being taken photographs, and in others they have been paid for having the photograph taken.

In most of the cases in which persons are not the central subject of the photograph, they appear on it by accident, after effort has been made to take the pictures in a moment when no subjects are within the scope of the lens.

When possible or necessary, the persons presented are identified by name. In the cases in which the photo authors have considered this can pose any inconvenience to them, their names have been either changed or held.

Reproduction rights on images depicting identifiable subjects, or in which subjects are central to the photography, are not for sale.

The single purpose of showcasing pictures displaying human subjects in this Web site is to convey the main purpose of the site, which is exemplifying cultural difference in the world.
